The American Values & Freedoms Survey
Where Do Americans Really Stand?
A national civic survey exploring American views on life, religious liberty, parental rights, freedom of speech, and the proper limits of government.
A different approach to public opinion
Political surveys often tell respondents what to believe before asking what they think. The American Values Project takes a different approach. Our questions include opposing positions, qualified choices, and the ability to say “Not sure.”
- Neutral and transparent wording
- Anonymous participation
- Qualified and uncertain responses welcomed
- Complete questionnaire published
- Results separated by recruitment source
- No donation request
What the survey measures
Protection of Life
Legal protection for unborn life, exceptions, and where Americans draw lines.
Support for Families
Practical investment in pregnant women, mothers, fathers, and children.
Religious Liberty
Free exercise for every faith and for people with no religious faith.
Parental Rights and Education
Curriculum transparency, notification, opt-outs, and student privacy.
Freedom of Speech
Lawful expression, platform moderation, and government pressure.
Government Power
Constitutional limits, emergency powers, surveillance, and accountability.
Why I Created This Project
I believe strong convictions should be grounded in truth. Too many political surveys are written to manufacture agreement, raise money, or confirm what an organization already believes. I created The American Values Project to listen first.
My Christian faith shapes my own beliefs, but this survey welcomes Americans of every faith, political affiliation, and viewpoint. Participants are free to agree, disagree, qualify their answers, or say they are uncertain.
The goal is not to create statistics that serve an agenda. The goal is to understand where people genuinely stand and identify areas where honest dialogue and practical action are still possible.
